Turmeric Golden Milk | The Yummy Solution for just about everything!

Turmeric has long been used as a powerful anti-inflammatory, disease prevention, and cure for many ailments in both Chinese and Indian medicine. Turmeric is rich in dietary fiber, iron, potassium, magnesium and vitamin B6. It provides a wide range of health benefits and promotes general well-being. Golden milk is super yummy and easy to make. It’s a really nice way to get your turmeric, especially in the winter. I like to drink it before bed, I find it comforting.  It’s also a great option for giving turmeric to children.

So here is your super easy, delicious, healing Golden Milk Recipe:

Golden MilkStep 1: Make your paste

  • ¼ cup of turmeric
  • ½ cup of filtered water

Combine in pot over medium heat, whisk until paste forms

Step 2: Make your cuppa

  • 1 cup milk of your choice (I like to use rice milk because it’s a little sweeter)
  • 1 tsp turmeric paste
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

Combine milk, turmeric paste, and coconut oil in pot over low/medium heat and whisk until it’s all mixed in. Add honey if desirable and sprinkle with cinnamon.
