Do you have any healthy eating secrets? I love to chant blessings into my food as I prepare meals… it makes me feel like some ancient magical fairy witch queen. I chew slowly. I savour every precious bite. Then I rub the leftovers into my face. Homemade salad dressings double as the best facials ever!
How do you recharge your batteries? I plug into mama earth. When I feel disconnected, I go barefoot, no matter where I am, sun or rain or snow… I feel her holding me. I breathe. And then everything seems to melt away.
What is your favourite song to practice yoga to? One of my absolute favourites is “Didji Dance” by Ganga Girl… when I hear those wicked beats, my body comes alive. I can’t help but smile and dance!!
Describe your personal yoga practice: My yoga is loving the sh*t out of everyone I meet. Dancing in the places where no one else is dancing. Primal movements. A lot of falling out of things. A lot of laughing to myself. Whatever feels good!
What is your evening ritual? I write, write, write… then I have a cup of hot tea by the fire, rub honey on my face, massage my body in sesame oil, and cozy up to bed.
What do you like most about the Victoria Yoga Conference? The incredible community of conscious, inspiring beings that all gather together to share what they love. I feel super lucky to be able to take classes with so many of my favourite teachers in one place!
