What do you like most about the Victoria Yoga Conference?  The collective energy! There is something really unique & special when a couple hundred yogi’s all gather under one roof, with the same intention of growing and creating community. It is a special and unique experience to surround yourself with high vibrational people and connect with like minded souls.

Many people choose a word for their year. Do you have a word for 2017? I am very inspired by words and believe that they have a lot of power. Along with my core desired feelings, I am also focusing on EXPANSION this year.

What advice would you give your younger self? Trust that it will all work out. I know you may not understand or believe it, but there is a divine plan, miracles are abundant and the universe truly does have your back. Release your control, loosen your grip, and just enjoy each moment.

What is your morning ritual? It may sound funny, but almost every morning I wake up with the same song stuck in my head, “It’s a great day to be alive by Travis Tritt”. Starting the day, reminding myself that it’s a great day to be alive and that the sun’s still shining when I close my eyes starts the morning off with gratitude. I find myself singing the chorus to that song as I make my way to my yoga mat, following by a few moments of meditation. From there, I cleanse my digestive system with warm lemon water and begin to tackle the day. Of course, I am not perfect – some days I end up pressing snooze 5 times until I roll out of bed rushing to get to work, but, what is most important, is that I create an intention to be kind to myself and tune in to how I want to feel for the day.

What is one book have you read over and over again? The Desire Map by Danielle Laporte (total game changer for me)
