Teacher Feature: Melissa Krieger
Find Melissa teaching a restorative class in the Community Yoga Garden called Self Care Sunday on February 7th.
What is your favourite song to practice yoga to? The entire album Black Sands by Bonobo.
How do you recharge your batteries? Sleep, read, practice restorative yoga, be in nature and eat healthy, home cooked food.
What is your favorite season and why? I love the spring! The energy and freshness in the air. All the new greenery. The cherry blossoms! Swoon.
What is your morning ritual? When I don’t teach in the morning I sleep in. Once I’m up I drink warm lemon water and while I wait for my coffee to brew I have a morning stretch. Then it’s reading my latest library book and drinking coffee. It’s blissful.
What do you like most about the Victoria Yoga Conference? As a teacher it’s great way for me to connect with my yoga community and see lots of friends! It feels like a reunion. And as a student I love going to different yoga classes and getting inspired.
