What do you like most about the Victoria Yoga Conference?  I truly love how warm and welcoming the conference is. It feels like the motivation and intention behind the conference is based on connection, community and expanding our sense of self for the better; to be more integrated humans for our friends, families, communities and ourselves.

What or who inspires you? Years ago I went to India, got a Guru, shaved my head and lived in an ashram, sleeping on a wooden bed for months…this was all very exciting and changed the trajectory of my life. But it’s all brought me back to the experience of LIFE being my greatest teacher, not one person who supposedly knows better because they’re supposedly enlightened. I am continually humbled by my life experiences and inspired by beauty, pain, Nature, friends, family and life itself.

Do you have a personal philosophy you live by? Do unto others as you would have them do to you.
Many people choose a word for their year.  Do you have a word for 2017?   CONNECTION

Describe your personal yoga practice.  Gentle, intuitive, loving.

What advice would you give your younger self? I’m here for you.
