What is your evening ritual? Family dinner, a little family time, teach yoga from 8-9, watch 1 tv show from the PVR with my husband, work/catch up (I am a night owl)
Describe your personal yoga practice: Practical. Sometimes tadasana with attention to breath in a lineup has to be enough and sometimes a personal practice is possible – I enjoy what I can do
How did you begin to practice yoga? I tagged along with some friends to a class in a school after hurting my back at work.
What is your favorite season and why? Summer. I love eating out of the garden and reading a book in the warm shade.
What do you like most about the Victoria Yoga Conference? The local yoga community building capacity and support with each other
Megan Bailey is RYT200 Hatha certified and is influenced by many styles of teaching. Megan has been practicing since 2001 and teaching since 2005. Megan has a home-based yoga studio in addition to working full-time in Human Resources. Megan has a BA in Management, a Post-degree diploma in Business and holds the Canadian Human Resources Professional designation.
