Teacher Feature: Gabriel Shaw
Find Gabriel teaching Tai Chi in the Community Yoga Garden at 1:30pm on Sunday February 7th.
What does your personal practice look like? Tai Chi is the art of letting go. Let what is, be. In movement and in mindfulness we learn to relax and release.
What is your morning and evening ritual? Foam roll in the morning, stretch in the evening.
Do you have any healthy eating secrets? Eat real food. Stow away small portions of easy-to-eat foods like raisins, dates, celery, etc and reach for those before making a dining decision.
Do you have any advice for your younger self? Instead I’ll say the advice I hear the most toward young people. Don’t spread yourself too thin or take on too much. Take time to relax and enjoy the ride.
