When is the Victoria Yoga Conference?

The Victoria Yoga Conference will be held on BC’s Family Day weekend each year.  For 2020 the dates are February 14 to 16, 2020.

How do I get to Victoria?

Where is the Conference taking place?


All classes are at either the Student Union Building or the Cadboro Commons at the University of Victoria.

Where do I go to pick up my registration package?


Pick up your wristband and printed schedule at the University of Victoria, Student Union Building at the following times:

  • Friday, February 14th – 3 pm to 8 pm – Student Union Building
  • Saturday, February 15th – 7 am to 6 pm – Cadboro Commons Building
  • Sunday, February 16th – 7 am to 6 pm – Cadboro Commons Building
What hotel should I stay at?

There are so many amazing hotels, bed and breakfasts and Airbnb’s in Victoria.  The University of Victoria is on all major bus routes so it depends if you want to be downtown or closer to the University.  It is your choice!




Getting to UVic and where to park

If you choose to drive to UVic, we recommend that you park in Lot 5 or Lot 2. Please click here to view parking prices and parking lot maps. There will be lots of parking as it is reading break for the students over this weekend.    If you choose you could bike or take public transit to the campus – UVic has all the information on their website.

Can I sign up for single classes?

This will depend on registrations.  Check back on February 1, 2020 for updated information.

Food and Beverage

SOUL IN A BOWL       For all registered attendees with a FULL ACCESS PASS – Friday night between the opening class and the later class (6 pm to 7 pm) enjoy a bowl of vegetarian or vegan soup and meet some other delegates.  Attendance is by your conference wristband.

THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND There are water stations throughout the conference. You are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and/or travel mug to fill and take with you during workshops and events.    You are also welcome to bring your own lunch/snacks in your bag.

VEGAN LUNCH BUFFET – You can purchase lunch when you register for Saturday or Sunday – if you missed doing this on your first pass through the registration system you can add lunches by clicking here and signing in.  The buffet will be served between classes from 11 am to 1 pm.

OTHER FOOD SERVICES ON CAMPUS OPEN ON THE WEEKEND – Starbucks is located at the Bookstore Building and will be open Friday until 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am to 9 pm.  If other food service locations are open on campus we will update this listing.

What to Bring with You

In addition to any personal items you like to have with you, please ensure you bring:

  • Yoga Mat and any props for floor seating
  • Journal/Notebook and pen/pencil
  • Water bottle and tea mug
  • Layers of clothes (depending on what room you are in and the level of activity you are doing, you’ll want to be comfortable)
  • Cash or credit card for purchasing fabulous items in our market place from our vendors. There is ATM machines very close by.
  • Check each class you have signed up for carefully to see if the teacher has requested anything special.
Things to know before you arrive
  • No showers are available at the University of Victoria, you may be able to pay a drop in fee at the pool to use the showers there.
When you Arrive

There is no need to bring a printed ticket to the conference.  We will have your name on a registration list and give you the appropriate ticket or wristband for your level of registration.    Wristbands will be issued once and will need to be worn for the whole weekend in order to access classes and the opening night.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy

If you need to change or cancel for any reason you must notify us by January 31, 2020. Tickets cancelled before December 31, 2019 will receive a refund less 25% of your purchased ticket price; tickets cancelled between January 1st and January 1​5, 2020 will receive a refund less 50% of your purchased ticket price. After January 15, 2020 there will be no refunds issued. If you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, you must do so by January ​31, 2020 and there will be a $25 transfer processing fee.      

Cancellations and transfer requests must be in writing by email to After January 31, 2020, all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  We cannot issue partial-refunds or support partial-ticket-swaps of any kind.

To TRANSFER The original purchaser must email with the details of the person they wish to transfer the pass to:

  • Email Address
The admin fee is $25 for the transfer.  We will invoice the original purchaser or the transferred person and when payment is received then we initiate the transfer and send you next steps.

In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled, we will refund all tickets. We will not, however, be able to refund flight, hotel, or other purchases people may make. All listed speakers are confirmed — however, sometimes life events such as sickness or death in the family prevent them from making it at the last minute.​


Passes for the conference are available in a variety of options:

  • Full Access Pass (Friday to Sunday) – BUY NOW – $295 (plus GST)
  • Saturday or Sunday Day passes – AVAILABLE SOON
  • Single Classes – AVAILABLE February 1, 2020 and based on availability.

Student and individuals 60+ qualify for a Wisdom Pass.
