When is the Victoria Yoga Conference?
The 2019 Victoria Yoga Conference will be held February 15 to 18, 2019.

Where is the Conference taking place?


All classes are at either the Student Union Building or the Cadboro Commons at the University of Victoria.  View the full schedule, including classroom names here.

Where do I go to pick up my registration package?


Pick up your wristband and printed schedule at the University of Victoria, Student Union Building at the following times:

  • Friday, February 15th – 3 pm to 8 pm
  • Saturday, February 16th – 7 am to 6 pm
  • Sunday, February 17th – 7 am to 6 pm
What hotel should I stay at?
There are so many amazing hotels, bed and breakfasts and Airbnb’s in Victoria.  The University of Victoria is on all major bus routes so it depends if you want to be downtown or closer to the University.  It is your choice!




Getting to UVic and where to park

If you choose to drive to UVic, we recommend that you park in Lot 5 or Lot 2. Please click here to view parking prices and parking lot maps. There will be lots of parking as it is reading break for the students over this weekend.    If you choose you could bike or take public transit to the campus – UVic has all the information on their website.

Can I sign up for single classes?

You may purchase a single class pass on-site at the registration desk at the Student Union Building.  Payment by cash or credit card.

These class passes can be used for any class that is not full.

  • One Class – $35.00
  • Three Classes – $100.00
Is the Wellness Market open to the public?


Yes the Wellness Market is free and open to the public, including presentations and performances.

Food and Beverage




For all registered attendees – Friday night between the opening class and the later class, enjoy a bowl of vegetarian or vegan soup and meet some other delegates.  Attendance is by your conference wristband.


There are water stations throughout the conference.

Visit the tea lounge with teas from Earth’s Herbal and in the Cadboro Commons building pick up your cold-pressed juices from Good Life Juice.

You are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and/or travel mug to fill and take with you during workshops and events.


Purchase your lunch from 11 am to 2 pm at the Student Union Building at the Health Food Bar, coffee will be available from 9:15 am onwards at the Munchie Bar


There are a number of microwaves at the Student Union Building, in the Wellness Market if you choose to bring your own lunch.

What to Bring with You
In addition to any personal items you like to have with you, please ensure you bring:

  • Yoga Mat and any props for floor seating
  • Journal/Notebook and pen/pencil
  • Water Bottle
  • Layers of clothes (depending on what room you are in and the level of activity you are doing, you’ll want to be comfortable)
  • Cash or credit card for purchasing fabulous items in our market place from our vendors. There is ATM machines very close by.
Things to know before you arrive
  • No showers are available at the University of Victoria, you may be able to pay a drop in fee at the pool to use the showers there.
When you Arrive
There is no need to bring a printed ticket to the conference.  We will have your name on a registration list and give you the appropriate ticket or wristband for your level of registration.    Wristbands will be issued once and will need to be worn for the whole weekend in order to access classes and the opening night.
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
If you need to change or cancel for any reason you must notify us by January 31, 2019. Tickets cancelled before December 31, 2018 will receive a refund less 25% of your purchased ticket price; tickets cancelled between January 1st and January 1​5, 2019 will receive a refund less 50% of your purchased ticket price. After January 15, 2019 there is no refunds issued. If you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, you must do so by January ​31, 2019 and there will be a $25 transfer processing fee.

After January 31, 2019, all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  We cannot issue partial-refunds or support partial-ticket-swaps of any kind.


The original purchaser must email with the details of the person they wish to transfer the pass to:

  • Name
  • Address, City, Postal Code
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
The admin fee is $25 for the transfer.  We will invoice the original purchaser or the transferred person and when payment is received then we initiate the transfer and send you next steps.

In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled, we will refund all tickets. We will not, however, be able to refund flight, hotel, or other purchases people may make. All listed speakers are confirmed — however, sometimes life events such as sickness or death in the family prevent them from making it at the last minute.​
