Every moment that we live our body is assessing our environment (internal & external) and adjusting our bio-chemistry to create different physical reactions.

These can be the fight or flight type of reactions, or subtle emotional cues that leave us feeling unacknowledged or angry. They can also be a sense of peace, bliss and comfort.

When you take the time to do your internal work; adjusting your view of the world and creating a broader, more inclusive perception through your eyes & mind, you shift your bio-chemical reactions to include more calm, peaceful and satisfied experiences.

If you walk around every day judging those you see on the street, blaming others for the pain in the world and seeking reasons for someone’s failure, you are literally CREATING a negative experience for yourself through your perception.

When you hear people talk about ‘not being a victim‘ what they are referring to is owning your perception. When we expand our perception to INCLUDE always looking for the best in someone, always acknowledging that there is a reason someone reacts/responds the way they do….THAT is when your perception begins to create a beautiful and peaceful life for you!

So consider your life these past few days or weeks. Have there been moments when you have placed judgement, blame or mistrust in someone else? Have you found yourself caught up in the political drama of the world, finding every excuse to “accuse” the other parties for the downfalls you see around you? Have you metaphorically thrown your hands up in the air feeling like there is literally nothing more you can do to make this world a better place?

If so – you’ve fallen into the “victim” trap.

But don’t worry. The most beautiful part about realizing that you’ve fallen in…is the invitation to come right back out.

With the awareness of how your perception creates your reality, you now know how important it is to release these negative thoughts and experiences. Simply thank them for showcasing your personal opinions and gently ask them to be on their merry way.

Remember, every moment that we live our body is assessing our environment (internal & external) and adjusting our bio-chemistry to create different physical reactions. If you want to live a life you’ve only ever dreamed of; one of peace, bliss and comfort, start shifting your perception to see these traits in every person and every experience around you.
