Guest Bloggers
One of the objectives of the Victoria Yoga Conference (VYC) is to build community, so we’re inviting writers to blog about yoga, meditation, community, kirtan, health & wellness and other related topics. Blogging for the VYC websites gives you an opportunity to increase your exposure to a targeted market in our growing online community, which comprises our website readers, Facebook fans and Twitter followers.
Your blog post, if published, may be featured in our weekly newsletter, and will be posted on the Victoria Yoga Conference Facebook and Twitter accounts. Along with your submission, you may include a link to your website and a 150-word bio in the last paragraph of your post, as well as an image of yourself, or your company logo.
Writers interested are asked to:
- submit a sample article, or a link to a currently published article
- submit links to your relevant social media sites (your blog or website, Facebook page, and/or Twitter account)
- submit a list of proposed blog topics
We do ask that an article published on the Victoria Yoga Conference website not be published on other blogs or websites, or print publications. Articles between 500 and 1,000 words, with featured images, are preferred.
If you are selected and willing to commit to posting on a weekly basis, and fulfill this commitment, you will be given a one-day pass (Saturday or Sunday) for the 2013 Victoria Yoga Conference.
Note: The Victoria Yoga Conference reserves the right to edit text for grammar, punctuation and formatting, and may edit the title of your article for visibility and search engine optimization.
Please submit your sample article to hello@victoriayogaconference.com.
